I just regret that I have almost no photos of when Kaybe was a baby and of how he grew... So I'm definitely making sure I have lots of Pika this time around :p

To get photos like the ones of Pika on the scale, and the ones I do with the white backgrounds etc, where his true colors show... I work my camera on manual. I don't do any pre-set camera things. I use my camera on manual and I manually adjust the shutter speed, ISO, aperture, etc. Flash is usually the worst because it'll wash out the yellows because it'll all reflect off the white parts.
Check out this thread I made a while ago: http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/photography-discussion/89131-what-i-use-photos.html

I really wish I had growth pics to share of my burms and my rainbow. Unfortunately the only camera I have is on my cell phone and since it tried to commit suicide a few weeks ago, it doesn't take good pics at all :(
But yeah, when fed correctly, burms grow at an amazing speed! Got my 2 girls in August and I doubt they were 2 1/2 feet long and now my bigger one is close to 5ft while the other is a little behind.
My rainbow seems to have doubled in size (length) since I got her in the middle of December

Same thing with my female spider. She has been a slow grower and it took me forever to switch her to f/t. Now she's an eating machine so I look forward to watching her get big.

Your snakes are gorgeous. :)
My woman and I marvel at Hayter's first "one-shot" sheds. We're like: "Oooommggg, can you believe she used to be this small?" Shed was like almost one foot? She's easily over two feet long now. :)
About four months from now, we'll have had her for one year. Our first year with a snakey. :) (She's having a blast slithering all over me. She's been on super-slow-mo for the last month or so while getting used to her new tank. I think she's about ready for a snack. :D
Thanks for sharing. I got slightly off-topic here. :P

Sadly I have no idea how many grams he is as I don't have a scale :( But he feels about 2 pounds or slightly more (aka no idea :P). Crazy! He grew quite fast...

I know, right? That's one of the things I find really fascinating about burms. It's almost like you can literally see them grow after each meal. And when you take their sheds and put them side by side, you can definitely see a difference between each shed! And now that my problem feeder burm (she must think she's a royal lol) is finally eating right (still not on rats though) and getting better nutrients, she's beginning to catch up to her sister in a hurry! :Wow:

Video I made the day I got her and as soon as I put her in her tank, of course she slithers away directly into the hide. If you pause the video at 0:00 you will see the big difference from the last pic. Seems like so long ago that I got her...
