wish i could take them! I'm totally the "crazy snake lady" at work. I've bought half, and rescued half of my hoard!

There's a reptile rescue in NH, not too far away. It's in Etna which is like a 3 hr drive from Portland. (Which is one of my favorite places ever!)
Good on you for helping out needy herps. :)
Our friend runs a rescue here in WV. It's where we got our first BP, Sidney and our Burm boy Malaki.
I have a crazy cat lady (I call her that to her face, it's a joke) next door to us so we have all our bases covered. hehehe

I get offered quite a few snakes and animals... but as hard as it is, I'm really good at saying "no." Mostly because it wouldn't be fair to the animals if I had to move due to grad school, jobs, etc and maybe not be able to take them with me. So for now I'm sticking to 2 ball pythons there are easy to move if I have to and once I have a nice, permanent house to live in, then I'll invest in more :)

That's the thing with me.. Nothing in my life has ever been permanent.. I'd give anything to finally have permanent. When I moved up to Gatineau I had hoped this would be it, but it turns out it just wasn't in the cards :(

We reached our limit back when we had 13. Then came Euryale in exchange for rats, then the pair of IJs for $100 which I sold Schatzi for and then got her back for free. Now we're like "ok thats it. 16 is enough", but then theres the possible corn breeding project in which I'll need a male. Always something coming up it seems, so yeah, I can relate :).
