Well I guess the title is wrong because i have had my Boa now for almost 7 months so she isn't new to me, but to you guys she is! :D I don't know why I never posted pictures but here she is. She is a Columbian Red Tail Boa. Her name is scarlet. These pictures are old as you can tell I had her outside in the nice warm August sun. I will post pictures of her again once it becomes warmer out. But she has already tripled in size both girth and length. I just love this snake. She is an eating machine and has an amazing eating response. Hope you guys like the photos! :D I think she pretty beautiful.

You are 100% right- she IS beautiful! Thanks for posting those. Natural sunlight really does bring out the best in them, don't it? Can't wait to see more updated pics when you get the chance- I'm pretty excited to see what she looks like now that she's tripled in size!

Thanks! By the time I get more pictures she is going to be even bigger. It amazes me how fast snakes can grow. One minute they can fit in your hand and the next they are taller then you! CRAZY

Sweet boa.... I think red tails grow slower than bci, it's quite likely it's a Colombian bci you've got there.. :D either way it's a nice snake.
