Congrats... :D I'd definately get rid of that heat rock... They're known for over-heating or having hot-spots on them that have caused some pretty gruesome burns in the past.

The heatrock is a zoomed with Rock Heater standard size with insulated Nichrome, low wattage, full coverage completely encapsulated heat elemement so i think its ok it was cute when i put her in her setup she checked it all out had been in a smaller one with three other snakes:3eyes::elvis::cool::laugh:

I'd recommend switching over to a heat mat that can give your snake a good gradient in the enclosure. Heat rocks can be pretty dangerous because their temperature can be way too high and can even give your little snake belly burns.

Even with the low wattage, insulation, and "made for snakes" there is still a risk.
Your snake will probably be happier with a heat pad and also it's easier for you to maintain temps, gradients etc.

Personally i would keep the heatrock but make one real simple modification, taked it out of the viv, find where the cable goes into the rock (make sure its not plugged in!!!) and then get some scissors and cur the wire off as close to the rock as possible - you can then put the rock back into the viv and snakey will be perfectly safe ;) :) :)
