Eastern Indigo(Drymarchon corais couperi)

I have kept and bred these for the last 10 years.About two years ago I wrote an article about these snakes that was published in Reptile & Amphibian Magazine. I wanted to know how many of you folks here, both Canadian and American , kept Eastern Indigos, or for that matter ANY of the Drymarchon species(i.e. BlackTailedCribos,YellowTailed Cribos etc etc. This photo is of Cadillac, my oldest male eastern, he is about 14 years as of this writing, no thats not a misprint.

Enjoy.

HI, HAVE A LOOK IN THIS FORUM FOR A PIC OF MY INDIGOS COPULATING. THEY BELONG TO ME & MY FRIEND KYLE & THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST BREEDING ATTEMPTS WITH THEM. SHE LAID A CLUTCH OF SLUGS ON HER OWN LAST YEAR WITHOUT EVER BEING WITH A MALE, SO SHE SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO (FINGERS CROSSED) THIS YEAR. A COUPLE OF OTHER PEOPLE I KNOW HAVE PAIRS ALSO IN ALBERTA & SASK AS WELL, BUT NO SUCESSFUL BREEDINGS YET TO REPORT. MARK ISBELL - GONE SNAKEE! CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA

Thank you very much...............
Excellent Francois. I wrote that article in Reptile &Amphibian last year but still get good feedback on it occasionally. My friend Dean allesandri wrote and article on Eastern Indigos for Reptiles Magazine, I dont know what month, but it is worth lookngup. For more info on Eastern Indigos and ALL Drymarchon,Spilotes and Cana snakes...go to www.indigosnakes.com. Great site and no politics!
