If you are referring to it being used in general conversation, it means "also known as". For example: I'm Hedy, aka BarelyBreathing.

If you're referring to something else, I don't know. I hope that helps.

I'm American and still have to ask my wife what some of the "text-speak" acronyms mean so definitely don't feel bad about asking. LOL.

I'll second the asking about text speak & sometimes have to ask about the younger generations slang terms.
that's where a gilrfriend almost half my age comes in handy.:laugh:

I am still working most of it out, too. I'm 25. It seems like people are making it up as they go half the time.
