So out of all our babies I almost think 1 could be a pastel... or something. Compared to the rest it is a very light gray. It could be nothing and I keep telling myself it is but in the back of my head it seems just different.
I took a couple of pics so you all can be the judges...

Do you know what the parents are? How old are they?
Good looking either way.

Not a clue on the parents genes aside from they are colombians.

Ahh then I would say it's a fair chance that you might have something.
The lighter of the two definitely looks like my friend's pastels. Both look good though. I love boas.

Ok now I am just confusing myself... after looking up pastels they should be more pink, coulda sworn that was a salmon but after looking at several pics could it be a ghost? I wish I paid more attention to morphs I like norms so much I never bothered to learn all the funky differences there are

Can't tell you if any of them is a pastel, but they sure are all very cute! I love those baby boas

only way to really tell is to breed the little one out, any idea if its a male or female? It could just be a high grey/white or whatever and could be selectively bred to make more similar colored offspring.
Pastel is often refered as a polygenic trait, meaning not necessarily genetic like codom or recessive as we know, but more selectively bred. Its more or less just a normal variance. Thats not to say there aren't genetic pastel boas as well, but they are more rare and likely not the case here. You could definately get away with calling it a pastel boa, but its not a Pastel Dream boa(I don't think) Pastel in this case(and in many boa's) just means clean pretty normal. Really nice babies by the way, best of luck with them. ~Caylan.s.~
