I saw this last night but don't know anything about it. Definitely pretty. The article I read made a point that they weren't releasing its whereabouts for fear of pet-trade poachers. Kind of made me feel bad.

Beautiful snake...it looks quite similar to the Usambara Mountain horned bush viper (Atheris ceratophora). I hope we hear more about this new Atheris species, and that it's status and population can be stabilized.
