about creating animals even more impressive and beautiful than those available today, and have reached a crossroad. Specificity or diversity. I think I would like to find a happened median between the two. I have done my research and learned what projects are happening right now, for example, I think we all know someone with a one-of-a-kind, phenomenal candy-striped line, and another premier breeder who is outcrossing his hypos with his best-looking animals to bring color into that phase. Then, we have another who had unfortunate losses in his collection. He has responded by putting a complete FREEZE on sales. Since then, I know he's worked tirelessly to absolutely ensure the health of his remaining collection.
These are all very, very difficult traits to have to "compete" against. I didn't even mention the two breeders with whom I had made a deal that I had to rescind after evaluating after-holiday finances. One of them (Aubrey at Slipstream Serpents) was kind enough to reply, apologize for the delay in replying, explained she could completely relate, AND told MD the snake I am interested in is still available!
Lets hope that's the case when I CAN afford him!
