My son and I went to our first reptile show today down in SoCal, and it was a big one! LOTS of animals, and some really neat things to see. Tried to pick out a few of our favorites, and I must apologize ahead of time for the terrible quality cell phone pics. Thanks for looking!
Very pretty bloody salmon boa

I honestly can't remember, but that was by far the least expensive rosy I saw for sale. Most others ranged anywhere from $60-$150, with the Mexican ssp being the most expensive, IIRC. We saw so many snakes, that by the end of the day we were really... :wacky:

We saw the indigo, and the almost got a bermese python from the place you are holding the kingsnake! (across from the basset crickets lol)!
INstead, we got a 15month old female flame kenyan sand boa (who just ate!!!) and a really beautiful pastel male BP! He is currently eating a rat! We always offer, because we're so eager, and it was a lot of fun to see them get so settled in and eat right off the bat! The sand boa is a fat little gem (bred by teachers creatures) and the pastel is one of the most beautiful i've seen, with two toned eyes, and pumpkin orange. I'm actually going to look up some pastels to see if it really is one or there's something else going on. He periscoped, looked around and sniffed his cage, got some water (soo cute to see them drink) and has been curious and adorable! Going to breed him with our dinker (suspected yellow belly) some day!
Anyway, the show was sooo packed with people, but it was pretty cool! I was the one wearing the "snake addict" shirt if you saw a girl with dark red hair walking around *lol*...with a backpack full of rats, and rolling a 40gallon tank on a trolly *rolls eyes* lol!

@Shmoges - I thought that's what I remember, but I could be wrong. I've always really liked them, but I'm not overly familiar with all the localities.
@jaleely - Boy, was it ever packed! I don't specifically remember seeing you, but being there for over 5 hours, I'm sure our paths crossed at some point. From whom did you buy your new BP? The fellow that bred and sold us our Hog Island was there selling some stunning BPs. Although he didn't have a lot of them, from what I saw, he sure had some of the nicest. His name is Howard Leong.
@alessia55 - Thanks! Looks like you're having a pretty good time in Vietnam as well!
@shaunyboy - We had a great time! As for the VW stuff, I'm actually a NorCal guy, so I can't speak to many of the SoCal trends. But if it's unnecessary, possibly dangerous, and completely over the top, there's a good chance it originated there! :D
