as you can see, my 2 yr old bp and my baby RTB ate the same thing :( rat pups is the only thing i can get my adult BP to eat... but today she did take it off the tongs for me, usually i have to leave it in the cage.. im just glad she is eating again!!

***edit*** actually the RTB had a weanling rat, and my BP had a rat pup... at least im pretty sure that is what they are. lol i can never rememeber

That's a really pretty pastel.

I don't like the way thawed rodents look. Lol.

In that 3rd BP pic, it appears that the mouse is backwards, according to the direction the legs curl. I must be wrong though.... Not the first or last time for that I'm afraid!

I was talking about the boa. Or is that a salmon?

Lucky you! I'm 90% sure it's a pastel. Can anybody else chime in on this?

Possibly, but bci's are so poorly bread. Unless you got him from a trusted breeder, or bred him yourself there is no sure way of telling.

Pastels in boas aren't a proven genetic trait. They are the normal color, with lack of black spotting. That's either a pastel or a salmon for sure, but I'm not sure which. Again, I'm almost 99% sure it's a pastel.

either way, i really love his color.. it was at an expo, i suppose that means nothing though.. he was really lighter than all the other BCIs he had

Very nice colored boa, I like how light he is. He'll be a real nice adult for sure.

I'm in a similar situation. My male is a " pastel " or at least we think he is. Bought him at an expo as an adult with no history. Breeding him to my sunglow now so we will see what becomes of it.
