I just wanted to let you all know that I changed my name. I was molson101 but I asked for a name change because GarterPython is a combination of both of my favorite snakes. Garter Snakes and Ball Python.

No, it was before my time.

I have a BBC documentary about Monty Python, Hosted by John Cleese.

it was mentioned, but that's all I know.

It was before my time too Wayne, most of their stuff was on radio in the 50s and 60s. However one of the Goons was Spike Milligan ( a comedy god) and I think one of the funniest men ever born. He had a show on theBBC called Q. His war memoirs are hysterical "Hittler-My part in his downfall" is well worth reading, his poetry was very funny too.

Things that go bump in the night
should not really give one a fright
it's the hole in each ear that lets in the fear
that and the absence of light :-)

Said Hamlet to Ophelia,
I'll draw a sketch of thee,
What kind of pencil shall I use?
2B or not 2B?

Spike Milligan

Cleese did mention Spike Milligan.

Thanks for piling in some more info into my tiny little brain.

He was a very funny, very clever man and a part time manic depressive.

I seem to know a couple of Scots that seem to be trying too though. They do fairly well too.

I still have my original "Billy and Albert" (Royal Albert Hall show) on VHS, that was incredibly hilarious, I used to find any excuse to play that tape for visitors.

I would put up a youtube clip, but it would break forum rules, he's a very naughty comedian.
