Threads like this really make me want another GTP... Maybe my next one won't want to eat my face off.

We have one of those now. Thought about naming it 'Satan's Little Helper'!

Shaun, yes I do. 20092010breedingprojects - www.coloradochondros.com (http://www.coloradochondros.com/20092010breedingprojects)
It's the last pairing on this page. Also, this is the uncle: http://www.signalherp.com/images/05188gweb.jpg
On average how much time per day do you spend attending to your collection ? If you don't mind me asking

It takes two people, three times a day. Water, misting, and temperature and humidity check in the mornings and at night, feeding monitors midday, feed geckos at night. I get to play with them in between, and I manage to find time to spend with every one of my animals that tolerate handling well (including mammals and birds) daily. Most of my collection is fairly hands off, though. We do general health checks weekly, which is when most of the pictures are taken.
So you just about find enough time to feed water and mist yourself lol

Only sometimes. I've had those "oh crud, I forgot to eat lunch! Come to think of it, I forgot to eat breakfast, too!" moments.
I can believe that, it certainly is quite a collection you have. Thanks for all the pics. I'd no idea geckos could be so diverse.

Oh to be able to do that with a GTP. I stayed away from these snakes because I was told you couldn't and they were only showcase snakes which is exactly what I dont want.

You CAN hold them once in a while.. doesn't mean you should. Even if my GTP didn't want to bite my face off I still would not handle him.

They are fairly hands off animals. They stress easily and my Biak is just plain evil. I do general health checks and that is when those pictures were taken.

We rarely touch our gtp even tho he is extremely docile, in 18 months he hasbeen handled six or seven times only...... Very much a display animal.

Thats is exactly why I dont have any of those. I prefer to handle my snakes since they're all pets to me.
