So I want to breed leopard geckos in the next few seasons. I plan to make a website to sell off the babies and feeders that I will breed and custom hides I make. My question is will I need any legal stuff? Please do not comment saying I am to young and stuff. I can handle a few leopard geckos and there babies. I have my own job to pay for it and I will generate other income through selling feeders and hides. If I need some financial help my parents can help me. But will I need a business permit and stuff? I will make very little profit if any so.

No you do not need a permit as long as you use your own name.
Now if you want to secure a business name, and protect that name from someone else "stealing it" from you, the only way to protect that name is to file papers at your local county building.
Legally, on a small scale, it's called a "hobby" and does not require any legal papers.

Im not to worried about anyone stealing my name because it is SNExotics or SNexotics but my initials are SN so.... My parents arent totally convinced yet (i would have asked my mom she owns her own buisness and is a cpa but they are totally on board)
Hey, if your mum is a CPA, then you have already won at least half the battle of starting your own business. Now if your Dad is a lawyer, thats the other half sorted!

I made sure I named my web design "business" Wayne A. Harvey web design and Graphics arts.
That way all I need to cash the checks is my ID.
My IT business is called Wayne A. Harvey Office Technologies, same reason.

I wish my dad was a lawyer...... but hes not but he owns his own buisness to (maybe its a family thing) but I most likely wont have checks to cash because all my sales will be over the internet through paypal
