Yeah, it's a real name. Personally, I think some real estate developers came up with the name cause no residents would! 100+ most of the summer, winters just above freezing (except when it's below freezing). Copious amounts of rain. Lots of trees.
I'm from the Bay Area but live up here now with my (so far) 2 chondros, Miss Beya (yellow biak neo) and Wadjet (female sorong yearling), our California Desert Tortoise, Cartman, who we named before we discovered 'he' was a 'she', my Chuckwalla, Sauron and an assortment of other feathered, finned and furred friends.
I enjoy shooting guns, shooting cameras and computers along with learning about and raising our scaled companions. Just recently joined the chondro club and planning on getting a couple more next month and trying breeding later next year. I've also got my eyes on ETB's and thinking a bit about carpets. Just don't want to do too much, too fast. I'm pretty sure with four gtp's and the rest of the herd, I'll be content for the rest of the year.
Unless I'm not. I really do like them ETB's. :0)
So, greetings and salutations. Looking forward to learning a lot from all of ya!
