So brylecc1989 made a post on here about having to get rid of his snakes. he was about an hour away so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get another King and this guy is so chill/curious. Very happy with him. So without further delay, here is Noodle!

He looks great! Congrats! It's always so nice to see how forum members help each other out :) :) :) He's got a great head and body pattern too. Is his belly black all the way?

Beautiful snake, but he looks more like a high white than a banana...

Its hard to see in the pictures but near his belly the "white" goes from the creamy color you see to a very distinct yellow. Of course I am just going off of what I've been told he is.

Well I did find my camera battery. When he wakes up today and starts moving around I'll get some new shots of him. He's put on about 10grams and 2 or so inches since I posted these.

He just switched to fuzzies but they may still be a little big, took him 15 minutes to eat on Sunday.

What makes it a banana? Its not yellow, if anything I'd say its a high white Cal King?

I'm not sure as I'm not really knowledgeable about king morphs but I think it has to do with their pattern as well as coloring. Banana kings that I've seen are anywhere from a low white to a high yellow with that kind of aberrant type pattern.

Mine is supposed to be a reverse stripe black and white, but she's a low white...almost a yellow and more aberrant. She's still pretty and has quite the personality which makes her interesting to watch :) Not too keen on handling yet as she still thinks fingers are food lol

I also am not very knowledgeable on king morphs, but just searching around youtube and google I found a lot of examples of "Banana Kings" that looked similar to him but really am just going off what I've been told.

Had a scary incident with him last night though, I had him out and a friend called who's car blew up on him and needed a ride. So I put him back in and left but must have not shut the cage right. Got home after going out to eat and his door was open. I freaked out, did the same thing I did when DB escaped. Only this time I looked at where his cage was and the first warm hidey place for an escaped snake was under my wall heater. I felt around in the small area under it and my fingers found what felt like a wire but it took a second for me to realize that i was pulling on Noodle not a wire. He got away from me so I took the heater off the wall and he was laying right there. As soon as I moved it I saw him look at me and he didn't move at all. Poor guy I picked him up and he was freezing cold. I warmed him up in my hands for a few minutes then let him chill under a light for awhile until his surface temp was like 88 or so, then put him back into the cage. I lifted temps to 75f/88f, and 90f in his hide just in case. He was out for probably 4 hours tops. at myself

Not trying to be cheeky or anything, but you might want to put a note on top of the lid of your cages that says "don't forget to close me completely!" or something. I do that when I notice I'm picking up bad habits like that. It's worth it if it means you won't forget again... ;)

Glad you found him though!!!! You should give us updated pics as soon as you can :)

Haha I usually do, I was just in a rush to get to my friend. It's cold outside, his car was stalled on the side of the road, didn't know how he was dressed. Noodle seems fine as of 6:30 he's crawling up his vine doing his normal late afternoon patrol.
