A friend of mine is looking to rehome her Boa, as of right now I'm uncertain of all the details I believe she is a 4 year old female. I will give more details when I get them, but she needs to rehome her asap so I'm posting this to give people sometime to think if they may perhaps be interested.
I've also asked for a few pictures so I'll post those if I get them.

Didn't you post a classified ad? I maybe very interested!

Yes I did post an ad a while back.
She comes on her own(no enclouser), she's 7 ft we dont know her age but however old they are at that size. shes a columbian boa NOT redtail. Shes very docile.

I would drive there and get her but I dont have the room unless she came with an enclosure..which she doesnt
I live less than an hour away but I don't have an enclosure either. I have little snakes in need of new houses being built for them before I dedicate time to building and enclosure for her :(
If something could be worked out with the housing situation I would have no problem taking her and would totally be open to any visitation.

I can talk to my hubby when he gets home and let Kayla know

well lets hope the hubby agrees haha pictures may help though.... hint hint :p
I could house a 7' female boa, and I'm about a 30 minute drive away from Barrie. You could email me directly at windsurfn@hotmail.com.
I've got boat loads of rabbits in my freezer right now, so having another animal to eat them wouldn't be too bad at all - lol.
Take care!

I actually came back on here to clarify that I thought that those who posted above me should def have first dibs at her.
Lori (Lady_bug), I think that you'd really enjoy working with an adult boa, if you're able to swing it:).
Regardless, it looks like you'll be able to help your friend find a good home for her, Kayla!

Thanks Josh
I would be able to swing it I would just need to get her a tub My boa is only a 2ft+ 6mos old and I already love working with her
I will leave it up to her current owner either way I agree that between us we can find a great home for her
Let me know price as I have a brother in Barrie (my home town) that would be interested.

So this is her, apparently she is a talker .. and can get very noisy..

Looks like a nice snake. A talker isn't a problem at all...but is she a biter?
I've had lots of vocal snakes that like to hiss. They just want to let you know what they're feeling. It's when they want you to feel what they're feeling that it's less desireable - lol!

Well originally she wanted to sell it for $150 before she asked me if I knew any places that took in animals ... but now she's looking for best offer.

Tough to "sell" a 7' snake without an enclosure. She is best to give it away.

If I was handy I would be on that like white on rice! I am looking for a female.

Neeevermind. Read up. I don't have the funds to 'buy' a snake. I'm more than happy to hang on to it/foster if she can't hang onto any long since I'm not far off. Hope you figure something out either way.
