Hey guys,
I consolidated three free standing enclosures around the house to give the wife some of her space back. Put this one together over a few weekends, still need to get the glass for the front but apart from that it's all done.
Single peice stack three enclosures in one
Measurements
Total: 100cm x 60cm 168cm LWH
Top enclosure 100cm x 60cm x 70cm
Middle and bottom 100cm x 60cm x 45cm

(the white boxes on the back walls are wall mounted analouge thermostats that are connected to a light mount which will control my CHEs for night time ambient air temps)
I also revised my heating and lighting system. I installed 35w halogens in there for heating and light to cut down the power bills as hologens give off a lot of heat at very little power use.

They look great, nicely crafted. What reptiles are you housing in each one?

Thanks for all the comments guys
The thermostats are wall mounted thermostats just like the ones you find in old houses, they measure air temps (IMIT ta3 thermostats if you want to look them up).

The halogen lights look great! And they're functional? By that I mean, do they provide adequate heat? If so, adequate for how large of a space? How do you choose the proper bulbs for the size cage you are constructing?

Yep halogens are great and actually pump out more heat than regular bulbs at lower wattages.
That enclosure is up and running now.... the top is heated by a 50w bulb for a BD and it gives a basking spot of 42C at a distance of 12 inches.
The other bulbs in the enclosures are running 35w bulbs and reach 35C at the same distance of 12 inches.
Halogens also provide a heck of a lot of ambient air heat so their perfect IMO.
As for the space question I would be aiming for the correct basking temp V wattage so that's a trial and error thing with different watttage bulbs. In saying that though I would not use them in anything smaller than a 3 foot tank as they do pump out a lot of heat.

How big is your dragon and how do you have his/her heating set up? I am building a larger enclosure now and still ebating on the best way to provide proper heating. - Also what are the dimensions of the Penthouse? (So I can convert the heating to fit my dimensions)

I'd say hes about 19 inches....
The UV is provided by a Fluro tube and the heat by a 50w halogen bulb.
The dimensions are 100cm long, 60cm wide and 70cm tall.

Search heat bulb guards on ebay, or reptile shops but they are dearer. :)
