To bad that's the reality of most larger species of snaks, monitors and larger lizards, they're cute, tiny and cheap. Most of the time they end up in homes that have little to no interest in keeping a larger reptile.
This was not a go at you, from what I can read your a very intel agent responsible person.

there are a couple I wouldnt mind holding on to but at the moment we are so broke with me not working again that I just cant afford it. They are all normals some with prettier tails than the rest, one is a much lighter gray and really stands out amongst them all. We shall see though who knows. The original owner of Queen, the momma, will be getting first pick. She had her since she was a baby and had to sell her durring a real hard time and misses her terribly. I send her pics and updates all the time since we've known each other for about 5 years now.

I want a lot of animals...Lions, Tigers, Ligers, Some bears are cute too...doesn't mean I will get one!!! I refuse to have a snake that is going to get bigger than I am. I LOVE burmeses, but I am 5'3" and if I can't safely handle it by myself, I have no intentions of getting it. But then again, I am also a grown woman that have spent 30 years around snakes, I'm not a newbie. Some of my mother's lessons were very good, (bless her for some things), she was a snake handler and didn't play when it came to snakes.
And you are correct, most of the time people see the cuteness and want them...then regret it after.
