He is either yellow/green or black.Super defined. I think down the road he and my female jungle will have a great clutch.
It was the Kitchener reptile expo today so I also bought this 3 unit pvc cage. I put heat and light in 2 of the chambers. The 3rd is for feeding until I find a resident for it ;)

I think someone may need to install a zipper on your back pocket so that wallet can't get out so fast!!!! But looks like a great day. Congrats.

We are by no means wealthy but we are comfortable. I don't mind burning a bit of cash for things this rewarding.
Very nice. And sounds like you're a man with a plan. Never a bad thing. :)

You've added a lot of snakes to your collect recently. What's your list now? Correct me if I"m wrong... you have... albino gopher snake, 2 carpets, 2 boas...?

Yup and a king snake to boot. So we have the 2 carpets in quarentine until spring. I share my interest with my 3 boys. We all have specific snakes we look after but I do all the feeding on Sunday nights. This has been the best family bonding thing yet. One if my sons has that special "it" for these snakes. They trust him right away. He is destined for an animal carreer. We are for sure getting 1 more gopher snake before christmas then thats it for a while. We also have picked up mostly adult snakes for the same reason we buy for the 15yr old kids on the angel tree( christmas gift for needy kids) everyone loves babys but adult snakes are harder to rehome so we did it for as many as we could without getting crazy and making sure we have time and money for them to have the best home possible. In my mind this is pvc enclosures over tubs or aquariums and we keep 100% records frim the vet visit on of every feeding, shed or any other noteworthy event.
We want to be the best for them. Our female carpet was expensive but I was willing to pay it to "rescue" her from the people who were neglecting her. She hisses at us and is always in flight mode but we will handle her until she comes around.
In the end they all deserve the best home we can provide and I am willing to dig pretty deep in the pocket for them.
