Got our first jungle carpet. Quarentined for the next 3 months and truly needing to chill out. Almost more of a rescue than a purchase. Her cage was 1/2 the size she needs. Brutal!!
She's an '08 and almost 7'
Had to get her. Name ideas???

Of course even though I asked him to let her be my 10 yr old son insisted on having a first meeting. He is one of those people who animals trust right away. Every time. She was fairly calm just busy like all carpets ;) Of course I had to snap a pic before I made him put her back :)

She's a beauty, and she's sure not underweight or undersized for 3 years old, hunh, lol.
Being that size, I'd probably go for something like Rubenesca, Big Momma or something along those lines. Perhaps even Precious or Robustia :)

Pronounced Way-low
Walo - The Australian aboriginals called the sun goddess by this name and said that she lived with her daughter Bara and her sister-in-law, the world mother Madalait, far to the east. Each day Walo journeyed across the sky accompanied by Bara, until one day the sun goddess realized that the reason the earth was so parched was their combined heat. She sent her daughter back to the east so that the earth could become fertile and bloom.

Thanks all. She's great to have. Can't stop looking at her. Kinda like the old Lexus comercial where the guy keeps looking in his garage 'cause he doesn't believe he owns one. Can't wait in 2 weeks ish she is due to shed. I'm sure it will be a Kodak moment ;)

I have the perfect compliment for that snake; Whiskers (http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/morelia-spilota/88599-canadian-carpets.html) ;)
He's very studly when he gets a whiff of a female. I can't let him and Sol out at the same time unless I want another clutch of eggs from her, which I do not, lol.
Wow, just saw this one too. Congratulations again!

Well we named her Sheila because " she's a fiesty little sheila " as Steve Irwin would say :)
