I killed the python/cat thread.
We are not about that here, Our hobby takes enough bad press already. No need to promote it further by using our forum as the vehicle to do it.
People look at the forum front page, and big snakes eating cats does not belong there.
Thank you.

Thank you for posting ^ We need to be the positive not the negative of this hobby.

I disagree Infernalis, I think it is better for the reptile community to show they are against this type of behaviour, and not sweep it under the carpet as if it doesnt go on.
What is better ignoring this type of thing or allowing new members to read what I would call a good reptile community slating this behavior and showing that it unacceptable.
However your forum your rules I shall abide by them.

Although I respect all points of view, I simply cannot condone showing it, we can discuss it without actually posting the video.
If you would like to lead the charge, I will even sticky the thread.
Just no showing the videos, that's all.
Children of all ages should be able to come on here and not see a little kitty kitty getting fed to a snake.

I concur with the majority. It's not what we're hoping to promote at all.

Adults too! I only watched ~5 seconds of it and I was disgusted. No one should have to see that. :(
No more kitten-fed-to-snake videos sounds like a great idea to me. I'd be down for conversation without videos any day ;)
