I had to get everyone. Yesterday was my boa first time hiding under his wood chips. At first i was like what the fuzz but then i remembered they like to hide. So i took advantage of it i said baby have u seen my snake and she casually said it probably under the log did u look there (and me playin along said yeah buti notice the top had a slight gap in it) She grabbed me and frantically said omg where is it ( in fear) then she said is it in our bed and i was like i dont know. The look on her face was priceless. Then i showed her where he was and she slapped me on my shoulder and said that wasnt funny :-D

Next time, tell her to aim a little higher. :p

I am lucky, My baby loves the snakes as much as I do.

I pulled a trick kiinda like that on my husband... except replace "I can't find the snake" with "I just took this pregnancy test"

he was not enthused.

^^^^^^you are EVIL. That's not funny. My wife did that to Me after our third child and let me believe it a couple of days. Lets just say that I just didn't think the bridge was high enough to do a complete job.

^^ Yup, pretty evil prank there!!

On April Fools day 2 years ago I told my mom I was pregnant and I told my dad I was being expelled from college. Then I told them "Happy April Fools Day!" They did not find either of those jokes funny in the least. They wouldn't pick up my calls for weeks after that. Since then, we keep to clean classic april fools pranks. Much safer that way :o

My wife was terrified of snakes when the kids asked if we could get one. She almost crushed my hand when our little skittles (22" gopher snake) moved through her fingers the first time she held her. NOW she is loving it. I brought home our new addition last night (6'+ sunglow boa) and gues who was handling her right out of the bag. I am so proud of her and so as not to screw it up ..... I can never play any snake gags on her :(
