Xenopeltis are so cool. Years and years ago I had a buddy who had one and it was just so awesome to see and handle. I'm glad to see they're starting to pop-up more often these days :)

After doing a small bit of research on these, it seems they're kinda hard to keep in captivity due to stressing easily and improper husbandry and almost impossible to breed in captivity. Is this somewhat old info or pretty up to date?
They're certainly very pretty and unusual animal, but how easy/hard are they to truly maintain?

the info is up to date, they are certainly not something to take on lightly.
care is pretty simple, what people find hard is just leaving them alone.
These 4 have gone into their tubs, and I now won't even attempt to peek at them for at least 2 - 3 weeks. Then I will feed them by vibrating a dead rodent on the surface of the substrate. Feeding is normally over in a few seconds and they dissapear straight back underground, I won't see them again for another week or 2 until I feed them again.

One of the females was quite dehydrated when I got her, but she is doing well, and getting her proper condition back.
