First escape :/

Got back to my mom's house (where the herps are) today and found that my male corn vaporized. No clue where he is. Last time I saw him was Friday the 19th because I go to my dad's on the weekends.
I set up a nice warm, cozy hide but any help is very appreciated.
I am very sad :(

Aw I'm sorry to hear he got out! I can imagine how stressful it may be :( Someone else on here suggested this and it might help you too: put flour around the walls of the room and see if you find track marks the next morning. It might help you to locate him. Good luck Eli!!

My cat is going insane trying to get in my oven.
She obviously smells something in there and it's too much of a coincidence.
Tomorrow I'm gonna thaw a mouse and try to lure him out. I'll keep you guys posted.

I know I've looked all around in there.
He must be wedged up some place only a smart snake can get.

PS. We moved in recently and the oven has no electricity at all. So it's not warm at all. Dunno why he chose the oven instead of the fridge or something.

I feel your pain man, mine is still missing but you can't give up hope.

Good luck with the traps, I can't offer much advice since nothing I've done has worked but just keep your chin up. I have put down water dishes in almost every room of my house and have hides setup in 3 different areas. Been putting thawed pinkies in them every other night or so. Also I don't know if it is helping but to get the scent out a little more I have been "dotting" the carpet next to the walls with their scent before putting them into the hides.

maybe buy a live pinkie, the sound and smell might get him to come out.

i had a jungle hatchling that escaped on a weekly,sometimes daily basis...!!

lucky for me she always wrapped round her thermostat wire,on the outside back of the tank

I've only had two snakes escape ( i don't own them anymore). One was my Spider Ball Python and the other was a boa constrictor. They don't always want to hide in warm spots, they might hide in a shady area in your house depending on the temperature to cool off a bit. I found my boa in my kitchen next to the stove and the ball python i found under my TV stand... still can't believe he wasn't crushed by the TV stand :eek:

I found him!!!! Well, really my mom did he was in her sock drawer :)
He doesn't look sick or anything it's only been a month but I was worried he went outside.
It's kinda weird to think of him crawling around this entire time :D

I can't take a new one because I'm at my dad's for Xmas now and my herps are at my momma's.
