My New Boa!!! :)

well, went to get crickets, reptile carpet, roaches, and a thermometer, and came home with

a baby boa!!! it was sold to me as a normal.. so im not sure if it is concidered a RTB, or just a boa, i am very new to boa species, but talked to the breeder for about 30 min. or so, held the lil guy and fell in love!!!

20 gallon long, screen lid, soon will have plexi lid...

water dish and a hide..

getting more stuff after work.. temp is at 83 and the breeder said to keep it around 80-83 :)

Thanks you all!! i will get better pics maybe tomorrow, but i will leave him alone for a few days/weeks...

he seems to love climbing, so i am getting him some branches tomorrow for him and maybe a bigger water bowl..

my wife and I went with Benji.. no rhyme or reason, its the 1st name she said:)

other snakes name....Eleanore, Snowflake, Scarlette/Steve, Jasper, Kerrella, bean, Cordillia, and Benji...

Eleanore and Steve i went with a FOrd Mustang theme (Eleanore from gone in 60 sec, and Steve from Steve Saleen, designer of the Saleen mustang. ) all others are just names, besides Kerrella, my wife named bc of Kerrella DeVille, since she was a p.i.t.a when I got her...

Very, very gorgeous! I'm no expert but he looks like a BCC (RTB) to me. By "normal" I think the breeder just meant no color morphs. He has a very interesting saddle pattern. Nice find :)

hes doing good! got him out today for like 3 min. the wife wanted to see him... she says "i dont like him, he looks like the devil" because of the "mustache" looking thing on his fave... lol she says to name him damien now ,but i was going to use that for my black blood....

any way tomorrow i will be posting more pics, since i will be updating his tanks!!
