Lost Brb!!

Well my brother had just purchased a 6 month BRB just on Saturday. He kept it in a small tank because he was get a big one ready. He finally finished the tank yesterday and put it in later last night. It was enjoying it's new fully furnished 46 gallon tank. Today when my brother came he wanted to take a look at the snake. We could not see it so we looked under a little hut and it was not there. At that time we looked in the trees. Nothing. So we took everything out and dug through the mud. Absolutely nothing. We must have checked about 3 or 4 times.we have torn our house apart looking for this thing. Still can't find it.It's really sad to see such a beautiful snake escape and can't find it. What I am asking for is for everyone to pray that we find it. I don't care who your god is just pray that we find the little baby girl. And hopefully we find her alive and ok. Thanks for reading.:(

Keep searching and hopefully she'll turn up! I know how frustrating it can be. Look up as well as on the ground, these guys will climb anything. Check the fridge motor, furnace areas, etc....any place that gives off heat. You could try setting a one-way trap along a wall. Check even places you think she coudln't possibly fit into, youd be surprised what they can do. Try sprinkling flour on the floor at night, she may crawl through it and leave a trail. The best advice you heard was to look up as well as down. I had one get out on me really quickly. She was about as girthy as a nickel, however she made it through a hole smaller than the girth of a dime. She ended up suspended between two thumbtacs that were holding pictures up on corkbark behind my snake tanks. To get there she must have climbed the electrical wiring for the lights/heat.

Bust out the flashlight and search places. Don't be afraid to check REALLY obscure places. Might also want to try leaving your enclosure open, maybe she'll come back.

You can try making a trap by taking a deep bucket and putting a food item in it. as long as you make it so the snake can get into the bucket but not out you have a chance to catch him that way.

another trap to use is an electronic device such as a satelite receiver or dvd player and leave it on in the middle of the floor. the snake may curl up on it as a warm spot.

Superly awesome news. MY brother found it on friday. A week and a day after it got lost. He found it slithering along the bottom of his bed. We litterally took the house apart. Every single crack and everything was searched. He figures she probably got her way into the mattress. I thought she would not last because she needs such high humidity and temp because our house is soo cold. But surprisingly she showed up. Probably cause she was soo hungry. But thanks for all the luck guys. Happy to see the little baby back.

That's awesome! :D So glad you found her and she seems well. Just keep a watch our for an RI, humidity in homes at this time of year is often 30%-40%, and especially babies will be sensitive to those levels.
