Can someone explain the signatures?

Can someone explain the signatures to me? what does it mean when I see 1.0, 1.2, 1.1? I think it has something to do with male female?

Like I have 1 male mexican milksnake (2011), 1 unsexed okeetee corn(2005), and 1 unsexed ball pyhthon(2006). We are going out to a local herp farm friday to get them sexed.

No problem, you don't sound ignorant at all. I think there are a few stickies up that explain the numbers and a lot of the lingo on the forum. For the numbers, you're right. The first is how many males, the second is females and lastly is the number of unknown/unsexed animals. Welcome to the forum!

Yup

1.0.0 means 1 male animal
0.1.0 means 1 female animal
0.0.1 means 1 unsexed animal

So, 2.3.4 would mean 2 males, 3 females, and 4 unsexed!

Thanks, that link was a huge help! I updated my Sig and I am so exicted about visiting the herp farm Friday to get them sexed. We are going to glades herp farm where they film "swamp brothers".. it is in sumter county , fl in the little town of bushnell, we live just one county over. Has anyone seen that show on discovery channel? We went out there last week and bought our milksnake and they invited us back to sex our other snakes.
