Bahaha yea definitely NOT a bumblebee ... sadly I'm not much help with identifying yet.. looking forward to what others have to say though.
That is also one gorgeously bright snake :D

It honestly looks like a Lemon pastel to me, but i'm not big on morphs its just the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw it.

Obviously not a bumblebee (see avatar lol)

It's very bright for a pastel, could be a lemon pastel, could be a "super pastel orange ghost" but tracking down the breeder is the best way to figure this out.

Looks like it might be an Pastel Orange Ghost

PS: it looks like your flash is making the yellow MORE yellow than it probably is in person. Take a pic without flash for us to get a truer color

I'm gonna agree with Alessia, but a lemon pastel is definitely a possibility.

I think youre Uncle and Alessia are probably right about it being a pastel orange ghost, but like Skyyame said, its difficult to say for sure without knowing the breeder.

Oh and welcome to your fellow rural Albertan!! Im from Rocky Mtn House. Youre the closest to home Ive met here. Spent many a summer out on Sylvan Lake

To me it looks like a super pastel. The only reason I say this is it looks very close to the one I,m buying from a breeder I know.
Good to see another albertan on the site, that still lives in Alberta. LOL

pretty sweet! im glad to know he came from a good place. I was originally planning on breeding him with our pastel; but considering he's a 1500 dollar snake i think i should get him a more suitable mate lol any ideas? im thinking mojave or pied..

Congrats on the pickup, he's definitely a clean POG and a stellar example of the morph (IMO).

Mate-wise; do you want instant results or a long-term project? What do YOU want to look at? Clean? Feed? For the next 20+ years? Basing his mate solely on market prices is a bad decision in my opinion. You may produce an $XXXX-value snake, but if it is hideous and you don't enjoy looking at it, why produce it? Just my $0.02.

Breeding him to a Mojave might get you Pastave Het Ghosts and to a Pied might get you Pastel Double Het Pied Ghost. If you hit the odds on the best combos, you can make some very nice stuff down the road.

Personally I'd get a couple Co-dom Het Ghost females and maybe a Ghost female for later on (a combo Ghost female would be best). Hope that helps.
