Hey, some of you may know about me through Alessia55's posts. Today I got a beautiful reverse stripe cali king. He's a few months old and almost a foot long. He's gonna be a big boy! :) I am super excited, he has been exploring his new home. I have been leaving him alone but it is awesome to be able to watch him roam about.

The expo was a lot of fun today :) Analog is wonderful and I think you're going to be very happy with him. Also, it's kind of weird that we're both sitting on the couch together on the forum at the same time and instead of talking to each other we're posting on here :crazy2:

Nah, the photos are deceiving. He's itty bitty as far as girth. He's still on pinkies :)

I asked this on another thread but it's worth repeating to see if more people see it here:
I was wondering about the water bowl placement... We debated it a bit. When we placed the shelf to give him the second floor we put the water bowl up there and he was already exploring and I'm sure he's located it there. Plus it's easier for my cousin to reach onto that top "floor" to change the water out more readily. Any real reason we should put it on the lower floor of the enclosure? Would like to get some opinions... Thanks peeps

IMO I don't think it matters as long as the snake goes onto the shelf it will get water when it needs it.
He's beautiful! I almost got one on 2 different occasions.

I'm posting on behalf of my lurker cousin lunar53 ;)
To let you all know that..... Analog ate today!!! So this snake is definitely a keeper! We are both really happy with him! He ate it no questions asked like a total champ  It's awesome news for those of you who have been following our journey to getting her a snake.

Analog is eating perfectly on schedule every time and growing like a weed. My boyfriend, Phil, is snake-sitting Analog for the winter. These are 2 crappy cell-phone pics I took last night when Phil fed him

As you can see by his itty bitty blue eye, Analog is going to shed any day now. He's gonna look pretttyyy nifty when he's strutting his new skin ;) I'll upload post-shed pics when I have them.

Yes. We've since removed it since it made taking Analog out for handling a bit tricky. But it looked awesome :)

Man... I am falling for colubrids pretty hard as of late.... I recently held a king and jesus they are so, well chill? I really want a pair of high white checkered and kick myself for missing the opportunity from a guy downsizing in Michigan.

Ok guys. I'm going to be honest here. I miss my babies (Kaybe & Pika, my ball pythons... They're at Kim's for the winter since I'm going home to FL on Monday until mid-January). My boyfriend Phil is snakesitting for my cousin (lunar53)'s snake, Analog. Hence all the photos. I love taking pics, and right now I only have Analog to take pics of. As of Monday though I won't have any more pics to post until mid-January, unless I see some reptiles while I'm home. Besides, they only stay so little for so long!! Sigh... Anyway, here are a few more from tonight. Enjoy! I hope ya'll don't mind my heavy pic posting ;)

Also, remember how a few days ago his eyes were blue? Well, they're not anymore, but I can't find his shed anywhere in the enclosure. I'm guessing he's still yet to shed and that I'll find it in due time. Oh well! :p

Nero's blue eyes clear up a day or two before he sheds, might happen with Analog.

Well, Kyle was right. Analog shed last night! This is my last update of him until mid-January since I'll be in FL and Phil will be staying here in Philly with Analog and he refuses to post for me on the forum :p
Shed: eye caps and everything was shed perfectly.

In his enclosure. In case you're wondering, the rock in the water is because the water dish is a bit deep, so for his safety he has something to hold onto if he needs it.

good call on the rock, he's looking quite dapper in his new skin.
He's beautiful! I think he could go up to the next size mouse.

My cousin (lunar53) misses Analog, so here are a few pics for you all to see of me and Analog. He eats like a king, and has 2 perfect sheds already. He's growing fast- I think he's gonna be a big boy!! Lunar53 will be over to pick him up hopefully soon. Analog gets a little panicky when I try to set him down and he prefers to be held instead, so I'm in all the shots *rolls eyes*

he's always twisting himself up lol
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v651/alessia55/Photo139.jpg
I'm not sure how long he is exactly, but here you can get an idea
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v651/alessia55/Photo143.jpg
He's really funny... when I try to take pics of him in his enclosure he follows my hand everywhere so it's hard to get pics of him in there. When I put him back in his enclosure after the short handling session he was up by the corner of it looking at me and trying to push his way over to me. He's certainly a great little snake with an easy temperament for a beginner.

Analog is back home in baltimore :) I took the goob out for some quality catching up. He said that Phil (alexia's bf) took really good care of him while I was gone.
He's a weird little snake, always tying himself in knots
