View Full Version : Thanks
Everybody hello
Thanks for adding me to Ur HUGE Forum.
My name's Ugo, and i live in Italy, near Florence.
Although snakes aren't my first interest , they r a 'constant' in my life.
I went through all the stages, now I seek the most neglected species.
I apologize for my bad English.
nice day
Ugo

Welcome! I love Firenze! And I have an Italian name ;)
See you around! Can't wait to see pics of your snakes
Everybody Thanks!
I m not so experienced with 'forums', anyway i'll try to post photos about my present and past snakes as soon as i'll learn how to do it here.
U can see more at my facebook page (ugo saluzzi).
But the most important are my FUTURE dreams , perhaps some of U breed them!!!!!!!!!
ehm....INFERNALIS, could U please tell me if 'free-handling' is allowed here?
usually i deal with venomous the same as with other snakes, please trust me it isn't a 'bullish' behavior, but the only daily ordinary & possible relationship. 'Bullism', in my opinion, is to keep venomous fearing them, only to gain 'consideration' and, the consequence usually results in a 'poor' keeping standard.
the last thing : my photos aren't os so good quality as Urs.
Cheers
ps Coffe & Guns: wow.... coffe is my love
Alessia : yes Urs sounds as a nice italian name
Infernalis : i bred them in the past, together with tetrataenia. i love them. thanks for the beautiful italian old-fashined 'welcome'

Ugo - free handling of venomous snakes is frowned upon here and in the US BUT we are mature enough here to understand that different cultures do things different ways and if that is what you do then that is what you do.
Whilst we would probably be wary of you if you were encouraginf others to freehandle venomous snakes pictures of you doing it yourself with the explanation of why you do so shouldnt be a problem in my opinion. :)

Lankyrob: thanks lots for Ur thoughts. ok, i won't start any arguments here, then no free-handling's pics! Only please, 2 : 1) it's unnatural as castity; 2) ...from an italian old song ..." nothing to explain, nothing to understand, ...if already U didn't understand it"

*giggling*
They are my family's new editions, Zed and Terra, Bearded Dragons.
The oringinals were bred in Italy, which is what makes their genetic line "Italian."
Italian Leatherbacks-
This is the newest morph available to the bearded dragon industry. The Italian Leatherback is actually a visual het for the silkback dragon. A dragon that displays this trait is a heterozygous carrier of the trait. This means that the Italian leatherback is heterozygous (het) for Silkback (the complete reduction or absence of scaling). These are our favorite genetics, and we have found it most interesting among the other available bearded dragon morphs, mostly because of how simple it is to diversify the genetics.
Italian Leatherbacks first showed up in Italy, and were produced by a man named Alessandro. As we recall, he produced a dragon that showed significant reduction in tubercles. (What are tubercles? Tubercles are the raised scales found on the back and other parts of the bearded dragon)
