Sooo I went to the store to pick up feeders when a little face caught my eye... well 5 minutes later I had her in my hands
Introducing Hydra, my baby White Sided Bullsnake
pictures to follow tomorrow shes a little stressed from the move so I want her to chill before I start taking pictures BUT she has a feisty attitude love it she scares the bejeeeezus out of me with that amazing hiss such a big sound from such a little lady
That brings my number to 4 snakes and 3 lizards
(don't hate on me for the relatively impulse buy, I know what I am getting myself into with this snake, all my animals are very well cared for, eat properly shed perfectly and are thriving)

Nice addition! They sure do produce a mighty intimidating hiss.
Does she grow heads? :)

All bar the first two of my snakes were "impulse buys" - as long as you make sure everything is ok husbandry wise and get your reading head on i dont see the problem, i had to wait for vivs to be built and delivered before the snakes actually made it to my house each time so just filled the time with as much reading/research as i could manage.

Thanks she came home with us right away she's sitting in a tub on top of my lizard tanks (makes her temp around 75-80 on the warm side with paper towel substrate which she has crawled under completely ignoring the perfectly good hide I made out of a small box.... its a pretty big tub so she will be ok in there for a while until I get my proper vivs set up (picking up some free tanks lol)
I started reading as sooon as I got her home and so far I have everything right mostly by chance and well pror knowledge and experience her humidity should be around 50% from what I read and its about that normally in my condo I will likely give her a little spray later

In that last picture she looks real silver-y. Does she still have attitude or is she settling down a bit?
