Here's my newest member of the family! I decided to go out and get myself a female ball python, and found a lovely 1 year old from my breeder that I had acquired Lestat from.

At first she seemed pretty pissy as she was stuck in a back for at least 6 hours, as she was driven from Kelowna to Vancouver. I felt pretty bad but I was happy to see her in person for the first time!

It has been a week and she has slowly gotten used to her new surroundings. I take her out for about 10 minutes just to let her roam, as she hasn't had much of that experience. More recently she is more comfortable with handling and she isn't so tense. Now I'm super excited because she's about to shed so I'm excited to see her afterwards! I must say that she is so beautiful!

And I haven't managed to figure out a name... and more pictures to come!

Congrats!!! How about naming her "Akasha"? From "The Queen of the Damned". It would make perfect sense, since you already have Lestat!:D

Thank-you! And I have considered that! She seems to fit the profile quite well too :P

Here are some more pictures of her. She is currently in shed so she will be even brighter when she does! :D

Very cute!

Just a reminder that handling a snake in shed can cause issues with the shed.

No worries, she's not that far in either. She's more so just roaming around rather than being handled. :)
