My wife and I are kinda getting sick of all the 30 gallons and 20 longs in our snake room so we are thinking of consolidation our colubrids into a couple of these racks from reptibasics.com

Rack Dimensions - 17" x 24" x 26.75"
Tub Dimensions - 16 1/8" x23 3/4" x 6" (approx)/ 30.6 quarts
That should be big enough for corn snakes imo.
Can't forget the thermostate!

We have two smaller ones from reptibasics for our rosys and other snakes and they are great.

I'm getting one of these (http://www.boaphileplastics.com/rhinoraxx_twenty_shoe.html) for $150 from the breeder I got one of my snakes from :)

Looks like a good choice; will go well with your other racks too

Dooo it.. Racks are soo much easier to take care of.. I was reluctant at first and wanted to give them fancy homes (which they really don't need) but a couple weeks with the rack system and you notice how much easier it is to care for multiple snakes..
Looks great, very professional.
Can I ask a stupid question?
Assuming you said yes.... Are the thermostats hooked up to one central heating unit or to individual pads on each shelf? And where does the thermostat actually read out then?
lol now you got me looking into buying a few of these :D

Looks nice! The Rhino raxx look a lot like Repti basics racks but are more expensive.

Not stupid at all, for back heat they put the heat tape on the back and there is one lead coming out of the rack to plug into the thermo and for belly heat they run a thinner strip of heat tape back and forth through each level so it only has one plug in aswell. The thermos can run like 3-4 racks provided they are all the same temps. In the pic of our racks with two thermos each rack is at a diff temp and the green screen shows the temp and lots of other info, a red led comes on when it is heating.
Thanks for the info! So where does the probe for the thermostat go then? Just at the back of one of the slots or does it have to actually to in one of the pans?
