Going to Kim's house (Will0W783) is always fun... She has amazing reptiles, and I always get the full tour every time I come over. Here are some photos I took today when I visited. These are just a FEW of her reptiles. Not all are pictured. Thanks Kim!!

those are stunning!
How is miss buzztail? looks like she's about to shed again.
You should get a SD tiger retic if you like calypso so much, prices aren't bad and the pattern is just not as well defined.

Wow I completely adore that horned bush viper! So freaking cute!
I'm always surprised by how tiny it is... but yet so dangerous  Kim and I refer to it as "permanently pissed off snake" because it's always so angry and eager to strike
calypso is awesome.
She's my favorite. She's so sweet too :)

Ahhhh Blue Tongue Skink, their faces always make me laugh!
And Gremlin is the man! His eyes are so cool, the rattlesnake's as well. What is it about Venomous Snakes that makes them so awesome looking?

The pics came out great!!! I didn't even see this thread before- not sure how I missed it, lol. It was fun having you guys over. I'm glad most of the snakes got done shedding. They always cloud up when you're planning to take pictures...grr.
Miss Buzztail is coming along- her belly is still ugly looking, but not raw anymore and she's eating with more regularity. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she keeps steadily improving. :)

Kiljosh, I think it's the fact that we know venomous snakes are dangerous that adds to their appeal. But also they are often some of the most niche-adapted, evolved snakes, and often intelligent with incredible patterns and colors. They are no joke, and you definitely should have a mentor and years and years of experience, but once you take that step into their world they are very addictive. :)

Wow, thanks so much for the pictures! What an amazing collection; Im so jealous.
Im curious as to what they are keeping the alligator in. Id love to get one but I can only imagine the size of the enclosure they must have to keep it!

They actually rehomed Chip today because he was getting bigger than what they could take on. They had him for about a year. He was being kept in a huge tank thing. Actually, if you look real close in the photo, you can see a piece of it behind there.

Thanks for all the compliments, everyone! Kim is always so nice to let me take her snakes out and get a few pics. She loves to brag about them and I love to listen!! :p
Oh that sucks for them! Always hard to give up an animal, but good on them for seeing the need for it to have a bigger home I suppose. Guess I'll keep on dreamin'

Chip was taken on as a rescue and we knew from day 1 it was temporary until we could find someone experienced and equipped to handle his eventual size. It was a very hard thing to do, as I've grown attached to the little guy, but he will now have access to a large pond, indoor pen and an experienced handler, so it's the best thing for him.

Thanks Shaun!
I kind of keep quieter about the hots, but yes I have three arboreal vipers, Shelby the cobra and Miss Buzztail. The "pitviper' that has the black, yellow and green in it is a Tropidolaemus wagleri, or Wagler's temple viper. She's very laid-back and easy to work on a hook. The bush viper is pure fury incarnate, lol. What's funny is the eyelash viper is actually the least potent of the three arboreals. The bush viper is the most potent and the angriest. I think the Wagler's looks surreal- almost like an alien robot with the huge spade-shaped head. She's definitely a neat snake.
