I've finally got my first boa constrictor :)
He really needs a name though. Feel free to suggest something!

I'll get better photos once he arrives... but here he is!

I like the way you think.

I have many snakes named after gods and mythological names.

I Like Oscar.

Oscar the exact meaning and name origin is a bit of a toss up between Old English and Irish/Scottland (No one can say for sure):

It is of Old English origin, and the meaning of Oscar is "spear of the gods". Also possibly from the Gaelic phrase "os cara", meaning "friend of the deer".

I am definitely a lover of greek mythology.. You should search through the names and meanings and see if any of them seem to fit his personality.. I prefer to wait to name my snakes until I've discovered them a little more, and I always find that the names I choose that way really seem to fit them well.

Hmm, I think Copper (his saddles look coppery in color), or Apollo.
Greek and Roman god names always seem to fit snakes.
