We have a baby longicuada who has had poop hording issues since we got him. I know these snakes can go awhile without pooping but is it normal for the area above before the cloaca to become swollen? I have massaged him and done tub soaks and found that he will get blocked with a air soft size ball of hard calcium or something from his food. After i help him pass that he is ok for awhile but it has happened like 3 times and this most recent time is going on 3 weeks and he hasn't been eating for the last 2. I don't feel a blockage this time I'm just concerned and mabye thinking should I put a little mineral oil on a food item the next time he eats or something?

what's a longicuada? lol I would think forcing liquids would be more beneficial than mineral oil. Sounds like a dehydration issue.

a type of boa constrictor
The Boa Constrictor Subspecies - Longicauda (http://www.boa-subspecies.com/subspecies/longicauda.htm)
there was a post in the blood python (python curtus) section about milking bloods, might be worth a shot.

He is anything but dehydrated lol I keep him and the BRB at 50% or higher humidity and we have them in a small room with a humidifier going 24 7 separate from our desert species of course :D
Milking bloods? Like poop milking? Iccckkkk lol thats what I have kinda done with him but I don't want to squeeze the crap too much out of him and hurt him lol.

yes poop milking, it might be necessary, if you're careful you won't hurt him.
