Pumpkins and snakes

Are pumpkin juices harmful to snakes? I've got a really cool jack-o-lantern that I made this year and would like to try and get a picture of Nero coming out of its mouth, but I would like to make sure it won't harm him first. I've done quite a bit of research and I can't seem to find anything one way or the other.
