Hey fellow herpers, I’m to this forum so I thought I’d say hello so, hello. I’m a new owner of a baby BCI named Ven and he's just shy of 5 months. Just had his second shed with me this past weekend and it was flawless unlike his first one which was probably a humidity issue that has since been licked. He never misses a meal and is currently pounding back hoppers.Thought I'd include a couple pics of my up and coming behemoth. lol.The first pic is of him a few days after I bought him(still my favourite pic), and the others are current pics. Look forward to making a few friends and getting some solid advice and tips if needed. Thx for looking.

been up there three times (twice in the past two years) and really haven't run into any real jerks. I was 11 the first time and just remember that toronto and niagra falls was awesome.

He's a Central American Boa and unfortunately that’s all I know. I bought him from a local pet store before I found a few forums and located some breeders. AMAZING temperament and all round pleasant fella to spruce up my mundane life.lol.
And thx for the compliments and welcomes, I’m starting to feel right at home here. And yeah, us Canucks are a pretty stand up bunch of people if I do say so myself, and Americans make great neighbors too.

Welcome, nice boa you have there! I have one too, and as far as I can tell she/he's a Columbian red-tailed boa. I looked at many different pics of other boas that look similar, but none look quite the same as the Columbian.
