I was just wandering if any one had any info on gray banded king snakes, they seem pretty cool. I am kind of new to colubrids so any info would be useful.

I've always liked them, their pretty cool looking and are the same husbandry wise as a cornsnake. Also only around 35 bucks average

Grey Bands are eating machines, i never have to worry about mine refusing a meal. They also go alot, if you know what i mean. So if you get one, be prepared to do a lot of spot cleaning, lol. Mine also has a great temperament, never has even attempted to bite me. They are also very quick,my father had cleaned his cage for me one day, and when he put Elvis (my Grey Banded) in the holding tub, my dad forgot to lock the top,and when he turned around to remember to lock the top, Elvis was already half way out, lol.

It all depends on the specimen you get:) Elvis is opaque at the moment, so i'll try to get a picture of him when he's freshly shed, that's when his color really pops!

I saw a few of these at the last expo I went to. What stops me is that they're fast moving. I prefer my lazy ball pythons :p

My Grey Banded is around 40 inches, and he's an adult. I don't expect him to add any more length at this point of his life.:)
