Alright guys, I had someone give me this Ball Python. He looks diffirent. his color around the bottom reminds me of a spider lol. He really reminds me of a spider. Any ideas?

I love the pigmentation on the bottom of him. It like fades up. Sorry for the quality, iPhone 4 camera :/

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but keep in mind that there is a LOT of variation even among normal ball pythons. He's definitely not a spider- they have much more reduced pattern, and I'm not sure about pastel...his pattern just doesn't scream pastel to me. You could prove him out via breeding with another black pastel to see if you get supers, but I would suspect he's just a nicely patterned normal, especially if he was free.

agreed, my normal male looks almost identical in terms of the pigmentation and every time he sheds he gets more green/yellow pigments in his tail

It may be a black pastel but I am betting on normal

I'd have to vote normal too like kim said I just don't see the pastel in him. Great looking bp regardless of what he is though.

100% NOT a black pastel.
It's either a D Grade pastel, or a normal.
