Darn, I went the NE Expo but they don't allow venomous. :( I really wanted to see some. Nice pics though, and nice BP!

They aren't suppose to. It says right in the rules for vendors no venomous reptile at show in Illinois.

Cool pictures thank for sharing. I was suppose go to but got stuck working.

All the pics were taken by my fiancé since I was way to interested in all the snakes and talking to as many people as possible. Marvel thats to bad you couldn't go it was a great show. I wasn't expecting venomous but when I saw them I was like holy crap (hope that word is ok) they look so much more stunning in person. I talked with the guy about them and he said he doesn't like keeping venomous he just ends up with all the confiscated ones because he has a license to own them. Also asked him about mentoring just to see his views on it and he doesn't mentor because its to much of a liability for him which I totally understand and I'm not planning on ever owning venomous anyway.

Tinley Park is on my list of things to do next year. I see a few breeders whose displays I recognize from the Omaha show two weekends ago.
Thanks for sharing.

I took a picture of the albino iguanas too! Look at the price tag!!! Had a great time, got a TON of new babies that I'll post in a different thread. Came home drained and realized wow, I have to get all these new kids tucked in before I can go to sleep.

You were drained? We drove from VA Beach Friday afternoon straight through to the show, stayed in a hotel for 2 nights and drove home Monday... then had to get all of our babies tucked in LOL.

Well when you put it like that, makes me sound like a spoiled brat! Lol! The drive was an hour for me. I stayed at the show for about 5 hours, maybe a little longer, stopped at a friend's house nearby for a few more hours since I'm rarely out in her direction, and headed home. The 5 hrs I was at the show I was walking around with the new additions holding onto them for dear life so they didn't get bumped and my arms just flat out hurt when I left.
