Hey guys,

Im back again after a bit of a break, I moved to a new apartment and have been without internet for some weeks now -_- However due to the miracle that is smartphones Im back :D

Anyways during this time I happened to be in s petstore that was selling Corn Snakes... a tub of corn snakes, easily 20 of them together in a breeders box -_- was most unpleasant and so after something like an hour of giving the manager **** for it I walked away with a new snake at a discount and a promise to change the housing of said snakes (ya right).

Iv had it for a little over 3 weeks now fed twice and due for its third on Monday. Apparently it already ate once at the pet store, but I doubt they put the effort in.

I believe its a Lavender after comparing it to various online resources whilst at college, if Im wrong do let me know :D Enjoy this vid of her second feed.

Def looks like a lavender. Once he ages he'll start darkening.

Lovely little rope you got yourself there!

As for the morph, it's really difficult to tell due to the phone camera, but if you checked here (http://iansvivarium.com/morphs/species/elaphe_guttata/) and think Lavender, you're probably right! :) Just bear in mind that they DO undergo drastic color changes throughout the first year or so, and so you may find yourself reconsidering what she is; I went through about 3 morph combinations before I arrived at "Ghost" for mine.

Another thing: In the video, it looks like the pink may already be a little on the small side...after another successful feeding or two, you may consider bumping to double pinks, if she'll take 'em. She'll be growing like a weed anyhow, so she might need fuzzies by then, who knows?? :D

Haha Blind I hope it does stay Lavender but I wont be bothered at all if it does mutate into something different. I love them all really :D Il see if I can upload some pictures soon since it takes much higher res pictures than it does video. I just fed her tonight and had I not been on my last pink I would have fed two.

Thats the plan for next week now, I think they will be accepted without problem as I notice alot of hungry behavior from her shortly after feed. I think il snap a pic or two right now as shes hanging out of her hide.. cant handle till wednesday.
