Hi there :)
Our guy that we get rats from time to time is moving and has offered us his breeding pair of beardies they come with the whole set up.. a huge custom enclosure, lighting and an incubator he made and used last time they bred. All for $100 :)
I've never kept them before and plan on looking at caresheets upon caresheets, but as we all know they sometimes leave stuff out that's good to know so I figured I would post here to see if you all have some advice that may not be included in caresheets and is learned from personal experience.

Great place to get started for beardies is beardeddragon.org. There are great people on their with great info who would be more then willing to help get you started and help with any problems you have. They help me when I first got Thil and I can never thank them enough.
The biggest thing I would seriously recommend is unless you are considering breeding them you should seriously separate them. Housing them together is a dangerous gamble regardless but with a male and female things can get bad fast especially if you don't want babies. During mating season he will harass her and over breed her more often them not causing huge amounts of stress on her and possible complications,

is there anything specific you're looking for in terms of information?
Beautiful Dragons (http://www.beautifuldragons.com/home.html)
This is a great website read. Lots of reliable and helpful information.
I 2nd the recommendation of separating them. Even though they may have lived together for years the stress of moving and change could start some problems between them. Plus co-habitation of beardies is almost always frowned upon and considered an accident waiting to happen.

On the site SpOoKy just listed there's a nutrition chart that is immensely helpful.
Nutrition Content (http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutrition.html)
It lists the good and bad food, and is very reliable for me so far.

Ask specific questions mate... I have been keeping BDs for over a decade now and I'd be happy to help.

I think Beardies are great and entertaining companions! beautifuldragons.com has a great nutrition sheet that I carry with me to the store whenever I buy their greens. Be especially careful with the breeding...make sure either A) you keep the male and female separated at all times or B) ensure you have a place to sell babies to if you do breed. I thought my male was being a jerk until I had my dragons all out one day and one of the females ran up to him and they bred! Hard way to learn...5 clutches and 104 eggs later! Yes, from one copulation!

I wouldn't have believed it either, especially from a first time mom! Isn't the ability to store sperm great lol?! Our last clutch, however, had 8 duds and the 4th clutch had a mold issue and I lost a couple eggs there. Clutches 1-3 had a 100% hatch rate with healthy, viable offspring and I still have 26 eggs left in the incubator that look great! And it's always a bummer because you fall in love with and want to keep each and every one of the babies!
