First of all on the day I found him, he was under a rock in an active spring that never dries up and it was snowing out.

Realistically, Had I not flipped that rock, he would have been dead by morning.

Secondly, He jumps after water drops, if I splash his bowl, he freaks out and chases the droplets.

He's just a doofus.

The green Snake is a Cyclophiops Major.. Sadly no one has kept one alive in captivity over a year, including me. I tried twice, both of them died within a year.

The water Snake (Nerodia Sipedon) is native to my back yard. We found Aqua near death 5 years ago under a rock, this time of year. He was nearly frozen solid, this crystalizes the brain cells.

Thanks. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Handling a bitey snake, you look for your snake hook and notice it's all the way across the room. Then you look down and see your son's magic wand. :D
