Due to my own negligence I had left a viv open during a spot clean yesterday. This morning i went in my storage closet to get some calcium to dust some crickets and I heard what I thought was a bee buzzing, upon closer inspection it was my male Sonoran Gopher Snake buzzing his tail. All is well now, I got lucky I was in a rush heading out the door for work when i noticed a mess in the tank so I quickly scoped it and left. I am posting this as a message to all keepers DON'T RUSH THINGS, take your time and be responsible.

Glad you found him. I have a yearling corn snake that's been missing for about a month now. I didn't leave his viv open, but it's a viv I designed myself, with a design flaw and he was able to squeeze between the 2 pieces of sliding plexi that I installed on the front. Had a BP get out the same way last weekend but luckily I found him the next day. Needless to say all of these vivs are now rigged up with all sorts of insulation and tape in that gap.

I left my first iguanas enclosure open as I ran to change the water and came back she was gone :/ that was almost a year ago now. I tore every inch of the room and house apart looking but never found her.
