Got Garter? I Do!

Been away from the forums for a while due to my bf having a case of severe acute pancreatitis earlier this summer during which he spent several weeks in the hospital and probably why I couldn't say no...

We went to a reptile expo a couple weeks ago intending not to get anything, though joking my bf said if he saw a blue-phase anerythristic Oregon Red Spotted Garter he would be coming home with it. Well I didn't expect much for garters, never mind any morphs, but just our luck there was a breeder letting go of an anerythristic Oregon Red Spotted Garter as he hadn't had any success getting it a mate. Not a blue-phase, but the next best and my bf was quite taken with him. Here's some pics (that do not do him justice).

Thanks everyone :) The guy we picked him up from said as far as he knew he was the only one in western Canada! He's quite handle-able too - hasn't bitten or even gone to strike and has musked only a few times. Now just to get the picky bugger to eat - apparently he'll prefer pinkies for a couple of weeks, then only accept fish for the next couple of weeks :rolleyes:
