hey guys as u might already know i was thinking of selling my BP. well with maybe another vet bill soon i have decided to follow through. im very sad to sell Hershy but at this point i dont realy have a choice.
here is all the info
He is unsexed, about 1 and a half. aprox 2.5ft long. has been eating well for the past 2 months. (i had issues with his feeding but he seems to be fine now) he has accepted his last 4 meals. i wanted to sell him with the tank but i have decided to only sell him with some accesories ie plants, branches, water dish and hide, and substrate. he has never bit me is always very calm. I live in montreal and i can deliver him depending in the location. PLz make ur price! here are some pics

Just for reference, a sub-adult normal male is worth about....FREE in this community.
Definitely try to sell him as a pet to the "general public", as opposed to in the reptile community.

i have to agree with mykee the snake should be free,especially if you take into account its going to need a vet.if you are unable to pay the vets fee's, then unless you give it to someone willing to pay them,then the snake may suffer (you didnt say what require's the vet)

imo it will be hard to sell a normal ball with pending vet fee's

not having a go,just being realistic

Oh dear maybe i should have specified that info the vet is not for him but my boas! i kindof figued i would have to give him as opposed to sell... im still gonna try to find a buyer just cuz i need the money.. but if i cant find one soon i will let u guys know and give him to one of u guys.. at least i know he will be in good hands :)

Agreed, normal males are worth nothing, sell it below retail in the local classified section as a pet animal.

Why does this animal need a vet? I saw it was taken out but unless there was something really traumatic (which I don't see in the pictures), there is no reason for that snake to be at a vet ?

ok guys so i havent found a new home for hershy! im willing to GIVE him away in exchange for a promise to keep good care and keep me posted! Im rly startin to find it hard to keep the temps in the temporary viv i made for him... and one of my boas has an injured mouth so im paying vet bills AGAIN.. i cant take good care of him u guys need to help me i dont wanna put him down..

i'd suggest posting on craigslist and on local herp forums. i got 2 out of my three snakes (and the setups they were currently in) for free from craigslist.

I have room for him in my new rack system hubby is building, but

a) the rack system is not ready for occupancy yet, and;
b) we would have to figure out the shipping as I am on the other side of canada.

Unfortunately the shipping cost more than a normal ball python is worth. Being your in Canada, it would be way to much of a hassle to ship him to the states.

I told one of my friends about your situation and he's considering helping. He would have enough money to give her a suitable environment too, Im just trying to convince him.
