REPENT SINNERS
THE RAPTURE IS COMING
Where I live in Northeast PA in the past 2 weeks we have had an earthquake, a hurricane, and now a flood.
The Susquehanna River is predicted to rise to ~40ft by tonight. The levees that Wilkes-Barre built because of a flood back in the early 70's were recently added onto. They are rated for around 41ft.
Thank god I live on a mountain but lets hope no more rain comes cause there isn't much levee left to work with.
I predict next week we will see locust swarms, possibly a new volcano located somewhere nearby.
Good day!

would that have been hurricane agnes of 1972?
Changed my life forever.

I think Hurricane Katia?? just spent her energy throughout the eastern seaboard very recently!!! They say it was the worst flooding since hurricane Agnes in 1972

Irene was the one that hit the east coast at the end of August.

I believe it's the plague of locusts that is next.
Getting into and out of Philadelphia for work today was...to put it one way...Ahem, Fun.
This weather in PA is berserk.
Kiljosh, I hope you haven't been affected by the evacuation of the Wyoming Valley. My parents live in Harveys Lake, where I grew up, and they told me W-B, Kingston, Forty-Fort and Wyoming got evacuated today.
Hope you are ok and have someplace safe to be.

Irene did a number on us for sure. I know a few people that are now homeless due to the flooding. Thankfully Katia stayed away. I know of a bunch of people that where not going to make it if we got hit again. All the rain that came up the coast these last few days is still doing a number to the roads and houses that Irene started to destroy. Hope everything starts to dry out soon!!

well I hope you will all be ok in this chaos! The storms do seem to be more frequent and severe as the years go forth. Where I live, it's going to be an earthquake that takes us!! As scary as that sounds, I wouldn't want to live somewhere, where the storms hit every year!! With us it is just the uncertainty of "when"

Infern, yea I believe it was Agnes. I just couldn't remember the name, didn't wanna get it wrong in my own post! Some of the older buildings here still have watermarks on them from the high water point. Its crazy. All the old timers are ranting about how they never thought they'd have to do this again haha.
But all seems good today. I commute to Williamsport from Dallas(which is literally right next to Harvey's Lake) for school. My school is right on the banks of the Susqy actually was closed the past 2 days. So I had a 3 day labor day weekend, 2 days of class, and a 4 day flood weekend. Awesomeeeee
But if we do loot now we'd be ballsy but I still want a second monitor for my pc and maybe rescue another creature from Petsmart and get Stubbs a friend.

I went to grade school in Dallas- Gate of Heaven School, which is now closed down. Williamsport is a hike from Dallas- do you go via 118?

As we know it, and I feel fine.
sorry, couldn't resist. Anyways, I hope all you easy cost people stay safe. We've been fortunate here for a long time. The flooding didn't affect us, and we haven't been in drought for several years. Hope it all works out for you guys and gals.
