Heres a few pics of my pregnant columbian boa Queen, shes so sweet we just love her. She is due sometime next month I cant wait to see our little new ones and I am so praying everything goes alright!
Anyone know why she would be avoiding the heat today? She seemed more antsy today, lately she has just been chillin so I took her out of her custom enclosure and put her into a smaller tank. Her enclosure has doors that open out and Im afraid when she gives birth the doors will be a problem and I will have babies and goo spilling out everywhere.

Its 100% normal for a snake to look "ansy" before they lay/give birth. They are looking for a spot to do it, and with limited choices they can't make up their mind.

Give her some time, and reduce handling to 0.

Early congrats on the expected babies - the wait must be killer! :p Hope everything goes smoothly, and post those baby pics ASAP! :)

Gorgeous Mama, btw ;)

The waiting is for sure driving me nuts! I'm constantly checking temps scared to hold her cause she is so dang heavy I don't wanna risk squishing babies. This is her first time being bred and I so want healthy babies! As far as I can tell we are around 100 days since we first noticed her and Squisher mating.
